 A day to explore much of the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, we will begin our journey visiting a fruit plantation and enjoy a toast of the seasonal fruits. Then we will visit the Blue Lagoon, Caleton Beach, Playa Grande and Gri Gri Lagoon. 

Blue Lagoon not Far East of Sosua and Cabarete visitors will find these freshwater lagoon phenomenons, offering the visitors an unique experience. The Blue Lagoon is so clean that is shimmers a shade of blue. You can jump into one of them for a refreshing swim. The surroundings are truly beautiful. Playa Grande beach is located between the cities of Rio San Juan and Cabrera, 120 kilometers east of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. This beautiful beach is evaluated as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world, has a length of 1.5 miles, making it one of the longest in the country’s northern coast, and offers a variety of places to enjoy and relax. Playa Grande has a large expanse of golden sand lined with coconut trees, hills, cliffs and 5 miles of access to the Atlantic Ocean. There we can see the lush vegetation and freshwater streams and the beach are surrounded by small forested open spaces. We will also enjoy our lunch time in this beach. Our last destination will be the Gri Gri Lagoon, one of the most visited by locals and foreigners in the Dominican Republic. A paradise located northwest of the island. It is still one of the natural attractions that preserve wilderness areas. This point is also ideal for those who love birds due to the huge variety of species that inhabit the Gri Gri Lagoon. We can also witness the natural habitat of a wide variety of aquatic animals that live in the mangroves in this clear water lake.
