Capybara Encounter and Ocean World Day Pass (Cabarete)

Round-Trip transportation cost to Cabarete is an extra US$15 per person, payable directly to Ocean World.

Delight in meeting Capybaras up close! Pet and play with these gentle creatures while learning interesting facts about them, from their social behaviors to their unique adaptations, in an engaging and educational session led by our experts.

Includes:

• 20-minute Capybara encounter, preceded by an explanation about Capybaras.
• Transportation is included for hotels in Puerto Plata. US $15 additional for Sosua & Cabarete.
• Entrance to the park
• Snorkeling in the tropical reef aquarium. (Minimum height required – 45”)
• Pirate’s Pool
• Tropical forest, bird sanctuary, and iguana habitat
• Use of the dolphin beach (beach chairs included)
• Slides and water games. (Minimum height required – 48”)
• Lunch
• Animal shows
• Shark feeding observation

Notes and Recommendations:

• Bring a bathing suit, sunblock, and additional money for pictures & souvenirs.
• All guests must, at a minimum, be at least 8 years old, of sound mind, and in good health.
• The minimum height required is 48 inches (114.3cm).
• For safety and supervision reasons, one participating adult/guardian (who is at least 18 years old) is required for each child below 11 years old.
• The maximum weight allowed is 300 pounds.
• Interaction is not suitable for pregnant women, or guests with back, neck, and/or knee problems.
• People with disabilities (visual, physical, intellectual, and psychosocial) are not allowed in this interaction.
• Guests with casts, walking boots, and prosthetics are not permitted.
• It is NOT permitted to bring personal cameras, cell phones, GoPros, or other electronic devices onto the platform during the interaction.
• No food or drink is allowed in the interaction area. 
• Service Animals are not allowed.
• Electric mobility equipment and wheelchairs are not allowed inside the property.
• Older adults must be able to enter and exit the tour vehicle unassisted.
